Designed and built by legendary music and film director Liu Jia Chang, the village aims to preserve and honor art and culture. Mr. Liu believes that art is the purest form that enables the raw expression of truth and emotion. He hopes to create a village where truth, compassion, and beauty reign as the fundamental principle of living and being on this earth.
Mr. Liu is a mega-artist who has composed over 2,000 songs and directed almost 100 films in the past 50 years. He has received three life-time achievement awards in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
